A High Adventure Program for Catholic Scouts

The Catholic Committee on Scouting and the Diocese of Lafayette sponsor a biannual high adventure program for Catholic Scouts, Explorers and Venture Scouts called the Saint George Trek.

The Saint George Trek takes place biannually at Philmont Scout Ranch in New Mexico .  Located in the Sangre de Cristo mountain range, Philmont Scout Ranch provides an high adventure along its hundreds of miles of rugged, rocky trails.  This, added to the religious, Catholic leadership dimension of the Saint George Trek, provides participants with an unforgettable spiritual experience.  The next trek is scheduled to take place.
